Unusually, the Steam listing has kept CPU/GPU rows at "TBD" into launch week while confirming the Windows 11 requirement — Windows 10 machines are excluded. This page updates the moment the final tables go live.
What to expect from a UE5 souls-like
Beast of Reincarnation runs on Unreal Engine 5, and current-gen-only UE5 action titles have a consistent hardware profile. As a planning baseline (not official specs):
- GPU: recent UE5 releases typically ask for RTX 2060/RX 5700-class at minimum and RTX 3070/RX 6800-class for recommended 1440p60. Budget accordingly.
- CPU & RAM: 6–8 modern cores and 16GB RAM is the practical floor for UE5 releases.
- Storage: current-gen-only design usually means an SSD requirement and a 60–100GB install.
- Upscaling: expect DLSS/FSR support to matter for smooth 60fps — we'll test settings at launch for the fixes & performance page.
Will it run on Steam Deck?
Two flags for Deck hopefuls: the Windows 11 requirement is about the Windows build (SteamOS/Proton handles games differently, so it isn't automatically disqualifying), but demanding UE5 titles are historically rough on Deck at launch. No Deck Verified rating exists yet. We'll test on Deck at launch and publish results — plus recommended settings if it's playable.
Can't meet the specs?
The clean workaround: Game Pass Ultimate cloud streaming (where supported) shifts the load off your hardware entirely, and the game is on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for couch play. See release times for when each option unlocks.
